Dr. Tracey Clark Jeffries is an economic-development strategist, researcher, entrepreneur, and management consultant whose work focuses on entrepreneurship, community investment, economic mobility, and strategies for building resilient communities.
Her research examining the economic survival of Black-owned small businesses provides the foundation for CCI's Economic Survival & Resilience Research Series and the Center for Community & Entrepreneurial Resilience.
Through The Community Capital Institute, Dr. Jeffries is advancing a research-to-practice model that connects entrepreneurial research with practical interventions, community-development strategies, and innovative approaches to community capital.
